(1962 Anamorphic Widescreen) Joachim Hansen, Senta Berger, Hans Reiser, Chris Howland, Helga Sommerfeld, Leonard Steckel, Peter Carsten. A mysterious serial killer is terrorizing a famed hotel in London’s Soho district with a unique, macabre calling card—shortly before each victim is slain, they discover that their luggage has been perfectly packed by persons unknown. Soon the killer strikes from the shadows, using expertly thrown knives to take out his victims. Hansen, a slick detective, is called in to figure out who the killer really is. Watch for a terrific climax in an old castle and a really cool laboratory scene. Lots of red herrings in this CCC German production of a story originally drafted by Bryan Edgar Wallace. From 35mm.
