(1962) Seamon Glass, Thayer Roberts, Mary Morias, Mary Morias, Michael Greene. Social sci-fi at its best. A state trooper stops people along a highway after hearing news of an impending nuclear attack. Good drama as cast members fight and quarrel over what to do before the bombs hit, (and they hit big-time at the end of the movie). Great acting and interaction between the various cast members, all of whom were virtually unknown at the time; yet they put it all together and the result was a thought-provoking cinematic experience. It was made to be released theatrically but appears to have gone straight to TV. This is Not a Test was originally framed for widescreen and we now present it in that format for the first time.
