However, a tragic shipwreck sent Professor Baker plunging over the side to float helplessly in the icy waters of the Arctic Ocean—and his dilemma soon worsened when he found himself being pulled underwater by an unknown aquanaut!  Losing consciousness, he awakened later in the small cold room of a massive submarine, traveling many miles below the surface of the ocean.
