A crusty old millionaire, who acts like a total tyrant, is despised and hated by everyone close to him. This eventually leads to some terrifying moments of murder and mayhem in a spooky old mansion. Watch in particular for the moment when a corpse shows up—still very much alive! Also keep an eye out for the chilling scene with the rats. This film is listed as being a horror film by IMDB; however, the horror content isn’t quite as full-blooded as indicated. Nevertheless there are some notably bizarre and sinister moments, along with a wonderfully gothic atmosphere. Overall it’s a helluva good chiller.
