(1969) George Cole, Peter Halliday, June Barry, Lillias Walker, Stanley Meadows. In the future an incredible system has been created that allows a person to die, but pass his soul onto someone else, thus enabling one to potentially live forever. The dying person’s “contact” (the person who accepts the other’s soul) must be in agreement for this transference to take place. Obviously, if someone dies without a contact, then they die for good, which can lead to a myriad of potentially dangerous situations, which are explored in this intriguing made-for-TV British science fiction film. Cole and Halliday do a great job, providing many thought-provoking moments. Nice color.
