1960-1963 (PLEASE NOTE:  These bundles cannot be used as part of The $98 Special or any other Sinister Cinema sale.) Here's a bundle of FIVE chilling Edgard Wallace classics, all filled with monstrous madmen and sinister charactersand all for just $42 postpaid!  You get:

1) DOOR WITH THE SEVEN LOCKS—Anamorphic Widescreen Edition (1962, Updated 10/25/21) Heinz Drach, Sabine Sesselmann, Eddi Arent, Pinkas Braun, Klaus Kinski, Ady Berber. This terrific Wallace chiller is one of the better in the series.  A beautiful woman arrives at a mysterious mansion.  Little does she realize there's a psycho afoot who has built his own torture chamber, which is overstocked with helpless victims.  The killer plans the same fate for her.  Needless to say, this thriller is filled with murder and torture.  There's even a treasure vault.  A German remake of the Lilli Palmer classic, CHAMBER OF HORRORS (1940). Transferred from a very nice 35mm anamorphic print.

2) THE TERRIBLE PEOPLE—Anamorphic Widescreen Edition (1960) Joachim Fuchsberger, Karin Dor, Fritz Rasp, Dieter Eppler, Eddi Arent, Karl-Georg Saebisch, Alf Marholm, Elisabeth Flickenschildt.  Another marvelous upgrade from top Edgar Wallace restoration master, Chuck Pennington.  This creepy German-made Wallace thriller is about the ghost of a hanged man who returns to fulfill his promise. All of his accusers must die! But is it a ghost or something far more sinister?  What is the secret of the mysterious ring?  Dor and Fuchsberger are always a terrific team and they really make the sparks fly in this great Edgar Wallace film. Original English trailer also included.  From 35mm.

3) THE STRANGLER OF BLACKMOOR CASTLE—Anamorphic Widescreen (1963, English Language Edition) Karin Dor, Harry Riebauer, Rudolf Fernau, Hans Neilsen, Dieter Eppler, Walter Giller, Ingmar Zeisberg.  Finally, a beautiful widescreen English edition of this classic Krimi horror thriller.  A hooded maniac is on the loose and murdering numerous people inside a dark, dank, creepy old English castle.  Beautiful Karin Dor falls smack dab into the middle of the horrific goings-on.  Scotland Yard sends a detective to track down the mysterious killer.  Lots of macabre scenes and excitement!  Cool.  From a beautiful 35mm print.

4) THE BLACK ABBOT—Anamorphic Widescreen (1963, Upgraded 10/26/21) Joachim Fuchsberger, Grit Bottscher, Charles Boetnier, Werner Peters, Dieter Borsche, Eddi Arent. A mad criminal is on the loose! Witnesses describe a black-hooded figure whom they have seen disappearing into a ruined Abbey tower. A number of people from a British nobleman's estate storm this ancient abbey, which is supposed to be filled with hidden treasure.  Unfortunately, the abbey is reputed to be haunted.  And before you know it, the mysterious hooded figure has started killing off those who have figured out where the treasure is hidden—one by one.  This fine Wallace chiller is one of ten series entries that starred Fuchsberger.  Gorgeous print, from 35mm.

5) THE AVENGER (1960) Heinz Drache, Ingrid van Bergen, Benno Sterzenbach, Ina Duscha, Ludwig Linkmann, Klaus Kinski.  Drache, who is an agent from the “Special Branch” is assigned the job of finding and catching “The Executioner,” a monstrous killer who lops the heads off his victims, then packages them up and leaves them strewn about the English countryside for unsuspecting citizens to discover. Following a hot clue, Drache ends up on a movie set where he’s certain the killer is hiding.  However, figuring out the killer’s identity could prove to be deadly.  Drache is his usual cooler-than-cool self and van Bergen shines as a high maintenance movie actress, but Klaus Kinski is particularly effective as the creepy script reader.  Also watch for the ape-like hunchback servant who constantly lurks about.  This is easily one of the best of the non-Rialto Edgar Wallace thrillers to come out of Germany in the early 1960s.  The only things missing are Karin Dor and Eddi Arent.  From 35mm.
