(1952) Dermot Walsh, Barbara Murray, Charles Victor, John Blythe, Thora Hird, John Horseley. Walsh is a college lad who shatters his father’s dreams when he is basically expelled from Oxford University for being a bit of an upstart. At a low point in his life, he decides to get involved with a notorious gang of jewel thieves. Even after being injured in a jewel heist getaway at a warehouse, he refuses to learn his lesson and continues on with even more sordid schemes and activities, the trail of which eventually leads him back to his father. Pretty good British crime drama with nice chemistry between Walsh and Victor. From 35mm.
