(1963, Anamorphic Widescreen) Eddie Constantine, Perrette Pradier, Daniel Emilfork, Clément Harari, Jean Galland, Daphné Dayle, Sophie Hardy. Eddie is once again an FBI agent, this time searching for an escaped (but wounded) criminal mastermind named Gregori, who has pulled off a massive diamond heist. A beautiful insurance investigator soon falls in with Eddie and together they end up rummaging about a sanitarium for the mentally distressed, which is secretly a hideout for high roller crooks who want to have their appearances changed via plastic surgery. Things get even more complicated when another gang tries to cash in on Eddie’s investigations and grab the diamonds for themselves. Plenty of fistfights in the usual Constantine manner. It seems no two thugs are ever a match for Eddie. The steam bath fight scene is pretty cool. Lots of beautiful girls, too, many of whom are from the wayward side of the tracks. With new English subtitles, 35mm.
