(1973, Anamorphic Widescreen) Faith Domergue, John Ireland, John Carradine, Carole Wells, Jerry Strickler. We like this film! Cheap and schlocky but sooo much fun. Domergue, even middle-aged, is a truly beautiful woman and gives a great performance as an aging actress caught up in a cheap horror film production being filmed in an actual haunted house. Ireland is her tenacious director (whom she still yearns for) and Carradine is the house overseer who knows the horrifying secrets of the house’s past. Before long the film crew members are being bumped off by a grisly supernatural creature. What more could you want from a drive-in classic? Cool! Great color, 35mm.
