A retelling of the legend of Siegfried, who slayed a dragon and bathed in its blood to become nearly invincible. Siegfried then travels to Burgandy where he wins the heart of the King’s daughter, Krimhilde. She is promised in marriage to him by the King in return for Sigfried’s help in gaining the hand of Brumhilde, the fiery queen of Iceland. But there’s a traitor afoot who plans to slay the invincible hero by attacking his one weak spot. Will he succeed? Lots of medieval action in this sprawling epic.
