(1941, PRC) Bela Lugosi, Dave O'Brien, Suzanne Kaaren, Guy Usher. Bela's giant bats are on the loose, attacking and killing everyone wearing a strange shaving lotion concocted by Bela himself. This is one of those priceless 'B' schlockers that has an uncanny appeal to it. Lots of great lab scenes with Kenneth Strickfadden's lab equipment firing off in the background. Bela has some great dialogue, too: "Rub some here, on the tender part of your neck" From 35mm.
