(1931) Benita Hume, Peter Hannen, Harold Huth, Walter Armitage, Jack Lambert. Hum and Hannen are spry newlyweds, off on their honeymoon. Hannen is also an inventor with secret plans. Little do the newlyweds realize that international crooks are out to steal Hannen’s plans, who is soon kidnapped by the bad guys. However, when it’s discovered he’s not in possession of the plans, Hume is left to contend with the conniving Huth, who acts like a gentleman, but in actuality is a slimy, low-down scoundrel. A wonderful cat-and-mouse game then begins. There is an amazing chase scene in this film that goes on and on and on but never for a moment becomes boring or overdone. Cool. A little creaky but still lots of fun. Released in the UK as A Honeymoon Adventure. From 35mm.
