(1979) Uldis Pucitis, Jüri Järvet, Lembit Peterson, Mikk Mikiver, Karlis Sebris. This is a really cool, highly unusual sci-fi film. A police inspector comes to a remote mountain hotel to investigate a murder. Shortly after his arrival a snowslide cut the hotel off from civilization. The inspector then begins to realize that something far worse than a simple case of murder is afoot—aliens, androids, terrorists, and more. The cinematography is breathtaking and atmospheric. The music score is fantastic. English subtitles. Nice color, 35mm.
