(1974) Rosanna Schiaffino, Chris Avram, Eva Czemerys, Lucretia Love. In this chilling Giallo (similar in some ways to Christie’s Ten Little Indians) a millionaire invites a group of people to a creepy, abandoned theater. It turns out the theater is the site where an entire family was slain long ago. Within a short time, the guests realize that they are trapped and at the mercy of a bloodthirsty killer who begins bumping them off one at a time. There are some truly chilling scenes and even a supernatural twist late in the film. Not a perfect movie, but still great fun. Rated R. Great color, 35mm.
