(1985) Sigurjona Sverrisdottir, Þorsteinn Hannesson, Rúrik Haraldsson, Kristján Magnúss. A young student lands a job as a night watchman in a big TV broadcasting studio, which is supposedly haunted. The old watchman he’s replacing (who’s retiring) warns his replacement about the ghost of a red-haired woman who is known to stalk the corridors of the place. But when the new kid gets the makeup girl to make him up as a red-haired ghost (as sort of a joke) he soon finds out how seriously haunted the building really is! There is a lot of well-done, genuinely creep stuff in this obscure Icelandic horror film. Definitely worth a look. In Icelandic with English subtitles. Color, from 16mm.
