COYOTE TRAILS (1935, Reliable) Tom Tyler, Ben Corbett, Alice Dahl, Lafe McKee, Dick Alexander. McKee’s horses are rustled by Alexander, his neighbor, whose inside man is McKee’s own foreman. They try to blame a wild stallion for inducing the horses to run away. However, Tom smells something fishy. He captures the wild stallion and it leads him to the hidden valley where the rustled horses are being kept. This likable Reliable is a remake of Phantom of the Desert. From 16mm.

PINTO RUSTLERS (1936) Tom Tyler, George Walsh, Roger Williams, Al St. John. A gang known as the "Pinto Rustlers," led by a Mexican bandit, have been raiding settlers in a peaceful valley. When a settler is killed, his son becomes an undercover deputy who infiltrates the gang. 16mm.
LIGHT OF WESTERN STARS (1937, Great 35mm!) (1940, Paramount) Russell Hayden, Victor Jory, Jo Ann Sayers, Noah Beery, Jr., Tom Tyler, Eddie Dean, Alan Ladd. A big-name cast compliments this fine western. Jory’s a hard-drinking, reckless cow-boy who’s at odds with a crooked sheriff (Tyler) and a notorious gun runner. A nice array of western characters compliments the action-laden proceedings. 35mm.
