(1973) William Berger, Montserrat Prous, Edmund Purdom, Loreta Tovar, Directed by Jesus Franco. This is one of Franco’s Dr. Orloff series and it’s odd not to see Howard Vernon running about. The plot involves a wheelchair-bound young woman who’s surrounded by horrific thrills and chills. Her relatives are plotting to snatch her inheritance. Then Berger (as Orloff) arrives to aid her, but in the end he has some horrific ulterior motives. Watch out! Lots of typical cheesy Franco Euro-horror fun. No classic, but a good time nevertheless.
