ISLAND OF TERROR (1966, Full Widescreen) Edward Judd, Peter Cushing, Carole Gray, Eddie Byrne. Things go terribly wrong in a research lab on an isolated British island and a new breed of bone-devouring monsters is created. The island is cut off from the mainland and it’s only a matter of time before the creatures suck the bones out of every single human! Cushing and Judd are great in this nail-biting British chiller. Byrne’s death scene is extremely grim. A great film! Excellent color, 35mm.
THE PROJECTED MAN (1966, Full Widescreen) Bryant Halliday, Mary Peach, Norman Wooland, Ronald Allen, Derek Farr. A reckless scientist decides to use himself as a guinea pig in his experiments with matter transmission from place to place by means of a laser beam. When the experiment goes south, one entire side of his body becomes monstrously deformed. Even worse, it means instant death to anyone who touches it. A really cool British sci-fi movie. Great color, from 35mm.
