HAUNTED PALACE (1949) Shaw Desmond, Helene Coomey, Ann Wrigg, John Slinger. This featurette is a ghost story vignette featuring a variety of interesting characters. (ala One Step Beyond) The best scene is when a waft of swirling smoke materializes into a woman’s ghost. 16mm. Plus: WHO KILLED DOC ROBBIN? (1948) Virginia Grey, George Zucco, Don Castle. Zucco is his sinister self again in this entertaining chiller about a killer ape who terrorizes a gang of kids in a haunted mansion. Our video copy looks very good, transferred from a Cinecolor 16mm original print.
