BOSS COWBOY (1934, Superior) Buddy Roosevelt, Frances Morris, Sam Pierce. Buddy is the foreman of a large ranch that's being victimized by rustlers. He takes a shot at a rustler, apparently hitting and killing him. Little does he know that the rustler's ex-pal is the one that actually fired the fatal shot. 16mm.
LIGHTNING RANGE (1934, Superior) Buddy Roosevelt, Patsy Bellamy, Genee Boutell, Denver Dixon. Buddy plays a tough cowboy who intercedes on behalf of a young woman who is besieged by outlaws. Like all of Denver Dixon’s rock bottom productions…a must. 16mm.
CIRCLE CANYON (1934, Superior) Buddy Roosevelt, June Mathews. What can we say, this is a really cheap Roosevelt Superior. They don’t make ‘em any more bottom rung than this. Buddy rides into danger when he arrives in a town where two outlaw gangs are at war. 16mm.
RANGE RIDERS (1934, Superior) Buddy Roosevelt, Barbara Starr, Lew Meeham. Another of the worst movies of all time. Buddy, a rancher’s son, comes home to rid the area of bandits. After his arrival, things heat up. The acting is totally inept; many scenes are out of focus; and the audio level is like a roller coaster ride. Superior shot these films in a day or two for about $2500. A bad-movie lover’s delight. 16mm.
