THE ROAMING COWBOY (1937, Spectrum) Fred Scott, Fuzzy St. John, Lois January, Roger Williams. Fred and Fuzzy hear gunshots! They find a young boy whose father has been murdered. They promise to bring the killers to justice (and they do). From 16mm.
THE SINGING BUCKAROO (1937) Fred Scott, Victoria Vinton, William Faversham, Cliff Nazarro, Roger Williams. This western has a little bit of everything: a damsel in distress, a corrupt businessman, a crooked sheriff, double-crossing henchmen, an Indian archer expert, hostages, and blazing six-guns. Scott wasn’t the most wooden of low-rung B western stars, but he did have one of the most ear-piercing baritone voices ever recorded on screen. 16mm.
RANGERS’ ROUNDUP (1937, Spectrum) Fred Scott, Al St. John, Christine McIntyre. Fred joins a medicine show as a singer and marksman. He’s really an undercover Ranger who's been sent in to break up a ruthless gang that's responsible for recent stage and express office robberies. Produced by Stan Laurel. From 16mm.
THE FIGHTING DEPUTY (1937, Spectrum) Fred Scott, Phoebe Logan, Al St. John, Chas. King. Two lawdogs tip off a road agent about an incoming gold parcel. A trap is laid, but the sheriff is winged and the bandit escapes. Later, the deputy is appointed sheriff, but his gal threatens to leave him! 16mm.
