WILDERNESS MAIL (1935, Ambassador) Kermit Maynard, Fred Kohler, Paul Hurst, Doris Brook. A tough Mountie tracks down and captures the murderers of a trapper. However, he's soon overpowered and left to die. His brother finds him just before he dies, then sets out for revenge. From 16mm.
HIS FIGHTING BLOOD (1935, Ambassador) Kermit Maynard, Polly Ann Young, Paul Fix, Ted Adams. Kermit’s films for Ambassador were some of the best B westerns of the mid-thirties. In this entertaining action piece, Kermit finds his brother falling in with thieves. They then order him to kill Kermit! 16mm.
THE FIGHTING TEXAN (1937, Ambassador) Kermit Maynard, Elaine Shepard, Frank LaRue. Probably Kermit's best western and we highly recommend it. The story centers around two feuding ranches. It seems that one ranch is missing horses while the other has developed an unexplainable surplus of the critters. One thing leads to another and suddenly, a rancher is found shot in the head. From 16mm.
VALLEY OF TERROR (1937, Ambassador) Kermit Maynard, Harlene Wood, John Merton, Roger Williams. Kermit's in jail for cattle rustling. His buddy forms a lynch party in the hope of helping him escape once they are outside the jail. At the last minute though, his buddy is prevented from being part of the lynch mob! It looks pretty grim for Kermit in what is easily one of his best films. Recommended. 16mm.
