SING, COWBOY, SING (1937, Grand National) Tex Ritter, Louise Stanley, Charlie King.  Tex rushes to the aid of a businessman.  On the line is a big contract to haul freight.  Rival haulers stop at nothing to obtain the contract, but Tex is able to rally fellow ranchers and wage a battle against them.  16mm.

UTAH TRAIL (1938, Grand National) Tex Ritter, Addie Pierce, Dave O'Brien, Horace Murphy, Charlie King.  Very likable Ritter vehicle about a mysterious gang that tries to drive a railroad company out of business.  They even steal an entire cattle train!  Tex tries to figure out the mystery.  From 16mm.

RHYTHM OF THE RIO GRANDE (1940, Monogram) Tex Ritter, Suzan Dale, Warner Richmond.  Seeking revenge on the killer of his pal, Tex rides to Cinco Valley.  He is appalled to find the valley’s settlers being subjected to a campaign of theft and terror by a Mexican thug.  Great action and songs make this worthwhile.  Richmond always makes a great bad guy.  From 16mm.

THE PIONEERS (1941, Monogram) Tex Ritter, Wanda McKay, Red Foley, Slim Andrews, George Chesbro, Karl Hackett. Tex and Slim aid a group of settlers as they make their way westward, fighting everything from outlaws to Indians.  Look for stock footage from the serial, Fighting With Kit Carson.  Tex sings up a storm.  McKay is as cute as a bug.  16mm.
