BULLDOG COURAGE (1935, Puritan) Tim McCoy, Jane Woodbury, Paul Fix. Fine McCoy film with Tim as a phantom road agent who steals gold shipments in retaliation for having lost his gold mine to a crooked banker on a legal technicality. He’s tracked down and fatally wounded. Years later, his son (also played by Tim) comes back to tangle with the banker. 35mm.
GHOST PATROL(1936, Puritan) Tim McCoy, Claudia Dell, Walter Miller, Wheeler Oakman. Crooks use a scientist's mysterious death ray to blow airplanes out of the sky! Tim steps in to try to stop their incredible scheme. A very interesting and well-done combination of western and science fiction elements. This may well be Tim’s best film for Puritan. From 16mm.
CODE OF THE RANGERS (1938, Monogram) Tim McCoy, Rex Lease, Wheeler Oakman. A fine McCoy film. Unknown to Tim, his brother is part of a notorious gang. Tim won’t turn him in and goes to prison rather than see his brother in jail! One great scene has Tim in a saloon shooting the guns out of three bandits’ hands in his usual flashy style. 16mm.
TRIGGER FINGERS (1938, Monogram) Tim McCoy, Rex Lease, Wheeler Oakman. A fine McCoy film. Unknown to Tim, his brother is part of a notorious gang.
