WEST OF PINTO BASIN (1940, Monogram, From 35mm) Ray Corrigan, John King, Max Terhune. The boys take on a land-grabbing saloon owner who robs stages in an effort to stop the funding of an irrigation damn. Without the water, many ranchers will have to sell. It’s a real treat to see the Range Busters from 35mm.
TONTO BASIN OUTLAWS (1941) John King, Ray Corrigan, Max Terhune, Tris Coffin. During the Spanish American War, cattle meant to feed U.S. troops are stolen! Ray and the boys ride in to find the rustlers. This is one of the better Range Buster films. 16mm.
SADDLE MOUNTAIN ROUNDUP (1942, Monogram) Ray Corrigan, John King, Max Terhune. It's a creepy, dark night. An old man is isolated in his lonely ranch with his Chinese servant. A ruthless killer known only as "the Raven" is lurking about the premises. A very spooky opening sequence. An above average entry in the Range Busters series. 16mm.
ROCK RIVER RENEGADES (1942, Monogram) Ray Corrigan, John King, Max Terhune, Christine McIntyre, Kermit Maynard, Weldon Heyburn. The Range Busters come up against a vicious gang of thugs led by a dapper villain played by Heyburn (who does his best Clark Gable imitation). 16mm.
