TERROR CIRCUS (1974) Andrew Prine, Manuela Thiess, Sherry Alberoni. In this grimy low budget affair, Prine is a twisted psycho who captures girls and terrorizes them in his barn. They are his animal act and he is the ringmaster, whipping and torturing them with zeal. There’s a cool, gross-looking monster in a shed who escapes and reeks havoc at the film’s climax. A classic '70s Drive-in Schlockfest. Rated R. Color, 35mm. PLUS: THE SEVERED ARM (1973, R-Rated, 91 min.) Deborah Walley, Paul Carr, Marvin Kaplan, David Cannon. Six stranded climbers amputate and eat the arm of one of their group. Years later, the other group members begin to meet horrible violent deaths. This is schlocky, lovable, over-the-top horror oddity that’s become a clut favorite. Nice color, 16mm.
