Noah Beery, Ailene Marson, Billy Milton, John Erwin. An impoverished pair of siblings (brother and sister) take residence in their childhood home, which is a somewhat creepy, dilapidated old country estate. They concoct the idea of faking the sister's murder in order to launch the brother's career as a journalist. Right… Things get very complicated when they lock horns with a gang of jewel thieves who happen to have a stash of stolen loot hidden somewhere in the house! A nice British B-thriller with a touch of humor.
