(1943, Upgraded 9/16/21) George Zucco, Mary Carlisle, Dwight Frye, Nedrick Young, Robert Strange, Fern Emmett. This is Zucco's only film where he plays an actual monster. He has two roles, a good brother and a bad brother. The bad brother just happens to be a bloodthirsty vampire that, along with his crazed servant (Frye), terrorizes the community. Zucco has some memorable dialogue, especially in the final confrontation between good brother and vampire brother. Recently upgraded from a gorgeous 16mm original print.
