(1931, Big 4) Bob Custer, Betty Mack, John Ince, Buck Connors. Bob helps a rancher who keeps getting cheated at cards by a local card shark. He retrieves the rancher’s IOU, but a little later Bob finds that his pal has gambled again—this time losing his ranch! Things get rough when Bob tries once again to retrieve the IOU. Lots of rustlers and outlaws, too, in this early talkie. A little creaky, but not bad.
