(1924, FBO) Fred Thomson, Ann May. Parts of other Thomson films exist, but this is his only known full-length feature, and it’s a fine example of one of the silent era’s top western stars. Fred shows great athletic prowess, good acting ability, and a true sense of wit in this charming film about a cowboy who falls for a pretty Mexican senorita. Standing in his way is her betrothal to a slimy villain. Music score, 8mm.
