Westerns OUTLAW DEPUTY*

(1935, Puritan) Tim McCoy, Nora Lane, Hooper Atchley, Joe Girrard, Bud Osborne, Gorege Offerman Jr. This is a splendid western Robin Hood-type vehicle with Tim as a bad(?)man who leads his gang in a series of stagecouach robberies (they also rustle cattle on the side). However, it turns the only person victimized by their thieving is a corrupt cattle rancher named Sanderson, who's responsible for the murder of Tim's longtime friend. McCoy was probably the best "actor" of the B western stars and really shows it here. From a very nice 16mm original print.
