(1934, Spectrum, upgraded 8/1/25) Bill Cody, Ada Ince, Wheeler Oakman, Billy Jr., Lafe McKee, William Desmond. A beautiful upgrade of what is probably Cody's best western. Bill plays a lawdog tracking down a gang responsible for hold-ups and murders. He's framed for murder himself! In a great scene, he has his girl-friend turn him in so she can collect the reward money to pay off her debt to a crooked banker, played to the hilt by Oakman. A rousing opening score. Some absolutely fabulous Lone Pine footage. Highly recommended. From a top Kodak 16mm original print.
