(1938) George Curzon. Many of Tod's horror melodramas were played with a tongue in cheek approach. However, that's not the case here. This thriller pits a master detective fron Baker street against the hooded killer and his gang. This is a great little horror/mystery chiller that's not to be missed. Transferred from a nice 16mm original print.
