(1963, upgraded 5/27/24) Mark Forest, Marilu Tolo, Elisabeth Fanty, Robert Hundar, Giuseppe Addobbati. Poseidon (aka Maciste) finds himself fighting for his life against a ruthless Caesar of Tome. Later he is also pitted against a weird ape man. Lots of the usual Italian spectacle thrills and plot devices. Forest is good in what is probably the best entry in the "Sons of Hercules" series. Great color, from beautiful anamorphic 35mm print. Also included are the original U.S. TV credits and post credit sequence.
