(1960, Upgraded 2/29/24) Roland Carey, Ziva Rodann, Massimo Girotti, Luciano Marin, directed by Riccardo Freda. A vivid, most enjoyable retelling of the Jason and the Golden Fleece legend. Watch for some cool-looking monsters, beautiful, but evil women, and sword-wielding warriors in this top adventure epic. Some cool action scenes compliment a very moody and atmospheric production. Also featured is a great music score that sounds like it could have been composed by H.J. Salter of Universal horror fame. This is one of our better sword and sandal fantasies, and was our very first S&S release all those years ago. Now mastered from a beautiful color anamorphic widescreen 35mm print. Dubbed in English. PLEASE NOTE: There is one short sequence of lower quality footage that came from another source (at the 37 min. mark), running about a minute-and-a-half.
