(1963) John Bentley, Faten Hamama, Anita West, John Gabriel. A great schlockfest! Bentley is a tough-guy-for-hire who leads four seedy characters to the African wilds in search of hidden treasure. The first half of the movie is a steamy intrigue thriller with two babes throwing their charms at Bentley, who’s also busy warding off thugs. Our quartet soon ends up being menaced by an insane, seemingly unkillable Nazi who leaves them to die in the African wild, then follows them into a huge, scary cave where the treasure is buried. Watch for the cool scene with Hamama and a deadly tarantula. A great moment is when Gabriel, the crazy Nazi, stumbles through the cave, laughing maniacally. From 16mm. DVD item #SP93D, VHS item #SP93
