(1964, Upgraded 12/28/20) Vincent Price, Franca Bettola, Emma Daniell. Top notch science fiction. A plague has killed off most of the earth's population, and Price is the sole (or so he thinks) survivor. The other inhabitants are mutant vampires, many of which Price hunts down and stakes during the day. At night, though, he battles them desperately for his life. Compelling and chilling sci-fi with some great scenes of marauding zombies. Remade a few years later as THE OMEGA MAN. Widescreen, from 35mm.
