(1962) Seamon Glass, Mary Morias. Social science fiction at its best. A state trooper stops people along a highway after hearing news of an impending nuclear attack. Good drama as cast members fight and quarrel over what to do before the bombs hit, (and they hit big-time at the end of the movie). Great acting and interaction between the various cast members, all of whom were virtually unknown at the time; yet they put it all together and the result was a thought-provoking cinematic experience--a really unusual, well-made piece of early '60s cinema sci-fi. For some reason it appears to have never had a theatrical release and went straight to TV.
