(1962) Michel Lemoine, Jany Clair, Maria Luzi, Peter Dane, Otello Toso. This is a surprisingly effective film about invading aliens who commit sabotage while in the duplicate form of a human that they previously murdered. These alien cyborgs--made to look like the son of a famous scientist—set out to pave the way for invasion. Beware of the hypnotic eyes and the touch of death! What cool movie this is—watch for the scene where an alien touches a beautiful girl and fries her! She turns into a blackended skeleton. The lab scene that shows the awakening of the alien androids is also very cool. Lots of eerie stuff—flying saucers, too! NOTE: Our DVD is mastered from a very old ¾” video master—so old we don’t even remember where it came from! The overall quality is a little softer than our usual product but it’s still very watchable—and a very good movie to boot!
