(1953) Francis Lederer, Donald Buka, Joan Camden, produced by Turhan Bey. This taut thriller has Lederer as an insanely jealous pianist who plots to murder his wife’s lover. A taxi-driver is giving the wife’s lover a ride to a hotel. When he steps out of his cab for a moment, Lederer puts a bullet through the lover’s head. But instead of going straight to the cops, the cabbie decides to steal the victim’s identity because of his American passport. The intrigue gets thick when Lederer’s wife shows up and confronts the cabbie. Cool. 16mm. DVD item #M520D VHS item #M520
