(1965, aka MANHATTAN NIGHT OF MURDER, Upgraded 12/9/22) George Nader, Heinz Weiss, Monika Grimm, Peter Kuiper, Silva Solar. A ring of gangsters has been terrorizing New York City. Their specialty is extorting money from small business owners. Things get out of hand, though, when they murder one of the merchants. The only witness is a 12-year-old boy. Special agent Jerry Cotton is brought in by the FBI to crack down on the criminals, save the boy, and put the gang out of business. He doesn’t pull any punches either. There are many great scenes fisticuffs. Nader made eight Jerry Cotton films, this is the second title in the series. If this film is any indication, it's a pretty good series. From 35mm.
