(1955, Upgraded 12/4/21) Myron Healy, Don C. Harvey, Sam Edwards, Frank Gerstle, Kate MacKenna, Frank Richards. Healy plays a habitual gangster who's not afraid to pull the trigger on his pistol when necessary. His escapades land him in and out of the Oregon State Prison. The scene where he mercilessly guns down a police who's leaning into his car is pretty brutal. Don't confuse this with the earlier Universal serial. An interesting prison-life drama focusing on a breakout attempt inspired by the famous radio series. From a crisp 16mm original print.
