(1942, Monogram, Upgraded 10/28/21) Bela Lugosi, Wanda McKay, Tom Neal, Dave O'Brien, Wheeler Oakman. This was definitely better than most of Bela's Monogram quickies. Zombies and murder highlight this story about a mad professor who uses a bowery mission as the front fro his criminal activities. Check out who's living, (or maybe we should say, 'not living') in the basement. One of Bela's more ruthless villains. The scene between Neal and Oakman is particularly grim.
