(1965) Sal Mineo, Juliet Prowse, Jan Murray, Elaine Stritch. The best exploitation film ever made? Some people definitely think so. Wow. Mineo is great as an odd busboy who has sexual problems related to childhood events. He becomes obsessed with a disc jockey at the disco where he works. This leads to obscene phone calls, voyeurism, trips to the porn shop and an adult movie palace. A police detective is similarly obsessed with sexual materials, leading him to become personally involved in the case. This is a hard-hitting gritty JD movie of unusual intensity that we highly recommend. A real unsung gem. From 16mm.
