(1971) Stephen Boyd, Marrissa Mell. In what had to be one of the most bizarre roles of his career, Boyd plays a well-to-do landowner who is haunted by the grisly spectre of his dead mother, whom he murdered after she walked in on him and his paramour. Soon he is joined by the beautiful Mell, herself running from a murderous past. They soon fall into bed together. Will his affection for prevent his demons from rising to the surface again? Although there appears to be a few moments of topless nudity that may have been cut, our print still runs nearly a minute longer than the listed IMDB running time of 94 mins. Nice color, 16mm.
