(1973, Updated 11/1/21) Paul Naschy, Rosanna Yanni, Alberto Dalbes, Maria Perschy, Vic Winner. Paul plays a ghastly hunchback whose only friend, a lady, dies suddenly, leaving Paul to the evil bidding of a mad doctor who promises to bring his gal back to life if Paul does his evil bidding. Lots of grisly murders follow in what is basically an old-fashioned monster movie. Don't take it too seriously and you'll love it. Dalbes is in especially fine form as the mad Dr. Orla. Paul wrote the original story and helped with the screenplay. Rated R for nudity and violence. Nice color, from 35mm.
