Basil Rathbone, Gary Lockwood, Anne Helm, Vampira. Beautiful color! Rathbone is tremendous as the evil Lodoc who kidnaps a young princess. Her would-be rescuers must overcome a series of horrible curses in order to save her. Dragons, ogres, monsters, witches, etc. are all featured in this colorful epic that gave lots of us nightmares when we were kids. Probably Bert I Gordon's best film. Upgraded 4-95.
