(1964, Upgraded 1/31/22) Barbara Steele, George Riviere, Margrete Robsahm, Arturo Dominici, Silvano Tranquilli. An excellent horror film about a writer who accepts a bet that he'll be alive in the morning after spending the night in a haunted castle. Top notch, supernatural horror as Barbara portrays a tortured member of the living dead. There are many shocking scenes, including Barbara's final moments as she attempts to escape back to the world of the living. Trailer to Barbara's Long Hair of Death also included. Widescreen, from 35mm. PLEASE NOTE: This edition of Castle of Blood is the English language version—longer, though, than the original U.S. theatrical release version. Our edition runs 86 minutes. As far as we know, this edition is the longest English language version available. Cool.
