(1964) Jon Hall, Sue Casey, Arnold Lessing, Elaine DuPont, Read Morgan. Teens are slain on the beach by a big, hulking monster from an ocean cave. This is truly one of the goofiest monster movies you'll ever see with one of the most wacky-looking monsters of all time. Hall, who was a fine actor at one time, is a bit pathetic in spots: "Is there nothing left!" Kind of sad, yet it all sort of works in a ludicrously lovable way and the film turns out to be an enjoyable grade-Z drive-in movie. Lots of good-looking girls in bikinis. Anamorphic widescreen, from 35mm.
