What's the forbidden past of the secret house hidden away in the haunted woods? The scene in the “haunted woods” is very memorable. The climax of this film, which takes place in the "Red House" will give you goosebumps and have you on the edge of your seat. Robinson turns in an unforgettable performance and should have been nominated for an Academy Award. Truly one of the great film-noir chillers. An absolute must. From 35mm.
